Hello, welcome to my portfolio.
I’m John, a web designer from Manchester, uk. I love toying with pixels and messing with code.
I <3 cheeseburgers.
Here's how I roll...
- Hand-crafted HTML5 & CSS3, because it’s the only way.
- The sexy Miss. jQuery.
- And the awesome Mr. Wordpress.
- Photoshop, Fireworks and Illustrator to make things pretty.
- And I like to make sites accessible and user friendly.
Here’s some of my previous work and projects:
-
DesignPost BookmarkThing
2012 Click the image to See More...DesignPostBookmarkThing was created to solve a problem, I kept loosing links to great articles. I used Wordpress as a CMS and made it incredibly easy to post and navigate.
-
Bryden's Decorating
2010 Click the image to See More...Bryden's had a whole new lick of metaphorical paint from me, I completed a range of branding from business cards to van decals and website.
-
The Chillibarn
2011 Click the image to See More...The Chillibarn Website was created to experiment with typography on the web. I made the site and logo to match a modern restaurant feel and I think they work well.
-
Lost Innovation v3
2011 Click the image to See More...This was my last itteration of my portfolio. Although I loved the clean lines and modern, minimal yet classic look, I'm never happy and it's always changing.

James Jacobs
2011 Click the image to See More...The James Jacobs Photography website was another experiment. This time it was an attempt to work with full page backgrounds and more jQuery magic. Sexy huh?

Staffordshire 3 Memorial Team
2012 Click the image to See More...The Staffordshire 3 Memorial Team blog is for charity organisers S3MT. It's built on Wordpress and uses custom fields so it's really easy for them to update.
